Murwillumbah Visitor Information Centre
FLOOD REPAIRS
The visitor centre, operated by Destination Tweed, had suffered extensive flood damage from Cyclone Debbie. We were awarded a contract by the local council to renovate it, stripping the entire building back to basics and rebuilding it from scratch. As part of the works, we were required to bring the structure up to all modern disability standards, with facilities such as ramps at the entrance and disabled toilets with grab rails. The client also changed the use of the building from an information centre to a modern office space for office workers.
